Terms of service

These terms cover your use of PodPings, the website and the emails. By signing up you agree to them. They're written to be short; please read them.

The service

PodPings emails you a summary of each new episode from the podcasts you track. It's free while in early access. We may change, pause or end the service, and we'll give you notice by email where we reasonably can.

Your account

You sign in with a link sent to your email, so use an address only you can access. Your account is for you personally. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email, and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@podpings.com.

The summaries

Summaries are generated by AI from episode transcripts. They're usually accurate, but they can get things wrong or leave things out, so check the original episode before relying on anything important. Nothing in a summary is financial, legal, medical or other professional advice, even when the episode is about those subjects. If a summary looks wrong, please tell us at hello@podpings.com.

Summaries are for your own personal use. Please don't republish or resell them.

The podcasts

PodPings isn't affiliated with the podcasts it covers. Show names, artwork and episodes belong to their creators, and summaries link to the original episode wherever we have a link. If you make a show and want it removed from PodPings, email hello@podpings.com and we'll remove it promptly.

Fair use

Don't misuse PodPings: no scraping, automated sign-ups, attempts to break or overload the service, or signing up other people without their permission. We may suspend accounts that do.

Price

PodPings is free right now. If that changes, we'll tell you well in advance, and you'll never be charged unless you choose a paid plan.

Liability

PodPings is provided “as is”, without warranties. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect loss, or for decisions you make based on a summary. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, email you first. Continuing to use PodPings after that means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bermuda, and disputes go to the courts of Bermuda. If you live in the UK or EU, you also keep the protections of your local consumer law and can bring a claim where you live.
